Epson Announces Printer Recycling Option

Epson has announced a new environmentally responsible printer recycling option.

Through the Volume Big Program, the company is enabling authorised dealers and ImageWay VARs to bid on support services, enabling them to compete more favourably in deals against competitive machines.

As a result of the scheme, resellers can offer US business customers the added convenience of free recycling of their old desktop printers when three or more new Epson Commercial Workgroup Printers are obtained via bid.

Monika Dees, product manager, Business Imaging, for Epson America, said: “We are pleased to underwrite this printer recycling program through the Epson Volume Bid Program that channel partners can leverage with their customers as another tool to win new business.

“This addition to the Bid Program underscores our long-term commitment to our commercial resellers and preserving our environment.”

To be eligible for free printer recycling, resellers must submit a bid for a minimum of three printers.
