Ink Cartridge Recycling Raises Money For Charity

An ink cartridge recycling scheme has been set up at Buccleuch Care Centre to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. The new initiative will mean that for every ink cartridge recycled by the care home's partner it will result in cash being donated to the charity.

Buccleuch Care Centre noted that its staff uses around 80 ink cartridges a year, and encourages all relatives, friends and local businesses to raise money for the cause. The centre added that empty cartridges can be handed into its admin offices at its St Margaret's Unit.

Recently, Creeds set up a charity event in Bridport, Dorset, to raise money for two causes. The company held a St George's Night Party which raised £1,500 for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and £250 for the Bridport TLC.
