Recycling Ink Cartridges Can Help A Green Office Environment

A piece in the Ecopreneurist has suggested a number of ways which can help, alongside recycling ink cartridges and other schemes, to foster a strong environment within a green office.

The piece suggests that currently, the average American spends 95 per cent of their day indoors with the large majority of this day being spent in the workplace. This is why, according to the piece, ink recycling has gone, and will continue to go, more mainstream.

Among the suggestions in the piece are the embracing of a green-office mentality, the effort needed to mark a change in office consumption habits as well as ensuring that ink cartrige recycling is made attractive to workers.

The piece also recommends putting staff in the driving seat when it comes to putting the building blocks in place and also making provisions available to get the ball rolling for a greener office.

The UK government is to bring its Green Deal into workplaces and businesses in 2012 to encourage efficiency.
