Ink Cartridge Recycling At Fairgrounds

Ottawa County residents may bring their old appliances, scrap metal, and ink cartridges to the Ottawa County Fairgrounds, in Ohio USA for recycling on Aug. 28.

Items accepted include washing machines, dryers, ovens, stoves, hot water heaters, refrigerators, freezers, microwaves, dehumidifiers, furnaces, air conditioners and water fountains.

Printer cartridges will also be accepted during this collection. The plastic cartridge casing used to contain the ink can take more than 1,000 years to decompose. Please keep ink cartridges separate from scrap metal materials.
